Now, I understand how difficult babies and young children can be.
They look as cute as a cat video on YouTube, but they cry for everything at the most inopportune times.
Hungry? Waaaaa!

Pooped? Waaaaa!
Sleepy? Waaaaa!
WELL, IF YOU’RE SLEEPY WHY DON’T YOU JUST SLEEP?
WAAAAAA!
(I have never shouted at a baby, I promise)
I’m not a parent but I have a niece, which is nice because that means I can have fun with her without having any real responsibility.
But I can also see how taxing it is to take care of a baby or young child.
When my niece cries in the early hours of the morning, I do feel upset, but then I remember that she’s still a baby and can’t speak yet, so I never take it out on her.

I mean what else can you do?
“Grandma Throws Crying 2YO From 6th Floor Window, Then Goes Back To Sleep”
Well, that’s one psychopathic way to deal with that problem.
In Mumbai, India, one grandmother allegedly threw her crying two-year-old granddaughter from her kitchen window in her apartment on the 6th floor.
According to The Indian Express, The young girl, Jiya, was rushed to the hospital, but she was, unfortunately, dead on arrival.

Investigations
Investigators who visited the apartment observed that the front door and kitchen window from where Jiya had fallen were both shut.
An officer from the Kurar police station added, “The manner in which Jiya’s body was found also suggested that she been thrown out.”
Further investigations revealed that Jiya’s grandmother had never been particularly fond of Jiya ever since she was born.
Her grandmother, Ansari, would “become constantly irritated when she played at home” according to Balasaheb Salunkhe, senior inspector of the Kurar police station.
She even fought with Jiya’s parents over the issue three weeks before the incident and left their home.

The day of the incident
On Friday, 28 September, Ansari returned to Jiya’s household after staying with her other son for nearly three weeks.
Then, in the night, Jiya had trouble going to sleep because she was sick. Because of this, she cried for a long period of time, keeping the family up until 3am.
This drove Ansari over the edge, and her anger towards her granddaughter reached its breaking point.
According to investigators, Ansari woke up early Saturday morning while everyone was still asleep, picked the sleeping Jiya up and allegedly threw her out of their kitchen window.
She then closed the window and went back to bed, as if that was a perfectly normal thing to do.
Many of us can’t fathom how someone could do that to a child, let alone to one’s granddaughter.

While investigations are still ongoing, I certainly hope her grandmother faces severe punishment if she is found to be guilty.
