Here’s What Sang Nila Utama Looks Like Now In Social Studies Textbooks

Allow me to begin this article with a disclaimer. Look, we have no idea how legit this is, but this is too awesome to not show you guys.

Recently, a couple of images about Sang Nila Utama have been circulating online. If you have been paying attention to your social studies classes back in school, you should know who he is.

Yeap, the Srivijaya prince from Palembang who supposedly founded the Kingdom of Singapura.

Honestly speaking though, I don’t even remember the way he was depicted in my primary school textbooks.

However, I’m fairly certain he doesn’t look like this in the textbook:

HOLY SMOKING POTATOES ON A UNICYCLE!

I DON’T EVEN—I CAN’T—

WAT!?

The above images(minus the AVGN one) were allegedly taken from a primary 4 social studies textbook!

Oh my goodness! He’s so ridiculously ripped! Are you sure there weren’t bodybuilders back in those days?

Honestly, this is the only thing I can think of right now:

I want to see the three of them fight it out in a battle royale.

Kenshiro vs Jotaro vs Sang Nila Utama.

Boy, I never knew how badly I wanted this. Show this to me and my life is complete. “No ragrets”.

Naturally, Netizens were pretty amused:

…Okay, add some unicorns and dragons into the mix and we will have the best film ever.

All right, you people better stop drooling already. Sang Nila Utama is old enough to be your… uhh, ancestor.

That being said, I really wonder what’s on the artist’s mind when he/she was drawing Sang Nila Utama. (Great job my friend, great job)

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
