Haidilao just opened a new, futuristic restaurant in Marina Square that looks like something out of a science fiction novel.

Am I eating or am I starring in a Christopher Nolan film?

Called the first “technology experience” restaurant in Singapore, Hadilao’s newest local branch comes with a host of high-tech features, including robot servers, customisable soups, and an immersive dining experience.

Personalized Soup Base Service

This will be Hadilao’s first overseas branch to offer its Personalised Soup Base Service. This cool service allows you to customise your soup base to suit your palate.

You’ll be able to choose how thick, salty, sour, and sweet you want your soup to be.

But if that isn’t impressive enough for you, the soup bases are prepared by an intelligent kitchen management system that will also record your preferences for your next visit!

Immersive experience

The new Marina Square outlet will also provide an immersive experience for diners using light and sound technology.

It’ll look and feel completely different to any other restaurant you’ve dined at.

It is indeed. Using light technology, photos of cascading waterfalls, animals, and other glorious things will be projected on the restaurant’s walls.

But the coolest part about the new restaurant? Robot servers.
