You read that right, IKEA is entering the gaming market with their new gaming range.

In collaboration with the Republic of Gamers (ROG), IKEA will be launching their gaming range from 4 Nov.

This gaming range includes over 30 products from gaming desks, chairs to a mouse bungee.

Some of the most noteworthy furniture includes:

  • A gaming chair
  • Accessories stand that looked like a hand
  • Ring Light
  • Gaming Desk

They even created a gaming room set up so that you can envision what your gaming room will look like.

Of course, no open windows are included because most gamers avoid the sun like the plague anyway.

In case you spent all your money trying to build your very own gaming PC and can’t purchase IKEA’s new gaming range, here is your chance to win up to S$2,999 worth of prizes.

Avid DOTA2 players can sign up and compete in the first-ever IKEA E-sports competition and get to win the new IKEA Gaming Range, Republic of Gamers (ROG) products and more.

There will be two categories :

  • Professional Category – For gamers with MMR 3360 and above
  • Casual Category – For gamers with MMR 3359 and below

For the professional category, a winner will walk away with s S$2,00 IKEA Gift card and ROG Strix XG17AHP Portable Gaming Monitor (worth $999).

While for the casual category, a winner will walk away with a S$1,000 IKEA Gift card and a set of ROG Claymore II Wireless Keyboard and ROG Gladius III Wireless Mouse (worth $618).

As per tradition, new things in IKEA means there’ll be a free tote bag redemption.

Spend a minimum of S$50 in-stores on home furnishing products in a single receipt to redeem a limited edition tote bag.

This limited edition tote bag is only available to the first 200 redemptions per store. One customer can only redeem one bag. It is also only on a while stocks last basis.
