If you look up the definition of suspicious, it would say: behaving in a way which gives others the impression that something illegal is happening or that something is wrong.
From now on, however, lexicographers who compile dictionaries, in any language, will no longer have to bother coming up with a definition.
Instead, they can simply provide a link to this video.
Man Suspiciously Throws Bags of Rubbish in Canal
Think that green crewmate in your Among Us game was sus? Well, have a look at this guy.
Yesterday, a video of a man throwing a rubbish bag into the canal was posted on the Facebook page ROADS.sg.
It has since been shared over 2,000 times.
The video begins with a seemingly innocuous scene; we see people walking by on a route along a canal on what appears to be a sunny afternoon.
With absolutely nothing interesting or of consequence occurring in the video, viewers must have wondered why the netizen started filming the area from across the canal in the first place.
But we soon find out why.
At the 24-second mark, a man in a dark blue top bends down to pick a rubbish bag up. This in itself isn’t weird, but what’s strange is how he then looks around, as if to make sure no one can see him.
For the next 40 seconds or so, he looks left, right, and over his shoulder to ensure that the coast is clear, but people are still walking past, with one woman leaning against the green railing right next to him.
Once the woman leaves and everyone else is out of sight, the man quickly throws the bag into the canal while keeping his eye out for passersby, and walks away quick
Netizen Thinks It May Be A Body Part, Urged Police Intervention
Netizens understandably found the whole thing rather suspicious, and urged the netizen who filmed the incident to call the police.
Some believed that it may have been a body part that the man disposed of, while others think it could have been unwanted pets.
What makes his actions even dodgier is that there was already one filled rubbish bag in the canal before he was seen disposing of another one in the video:
A couple of netizens also found the actions of the woman beside him suspect, as she only left when the coast was clear. Plus, the bag was flung into the river soon after she left.
What do you think? Was that guy shady, or are people reading too much into it?
