Man Charged for Incest Sexual Relationship with His 32YO Daughter

Father-daughter relationships are meant to be wholesome, pure and generally decent in nature.

They are certainly not meant to be illicit and even sexual in nature.

And so, to witness an act so ‘barbaric’ is undeniably… a really hard pill to swallow.

Man Charged for Incest Sexual Relationship with His 32YO Daughter

According to The Straits Timesa man has been charged for engaging in an incestuous act with his legitimate daughter.

Apparently, they had sexual intercourse on 17 May 2019, back when he was 54 and she was 30 years old.

The 56-year-old Singaporean was also slapped with the charge of attempted incest, after he tried to re-initiate the act on 20 October 2019.

For the record, a man is forbidden to engage in consensual sexual activities with close relatives.

Under Section 376G of the Penal Code, women can also be deemed as perpetrators, though the daughter was not charged in this case.

For incest, offenders could be sentenced to up to five years’ imprisonment.

Not The First Instance Here

Though rare, the 2019 case was not the first of its kind here.

Instead, the ‘accolade’ goes all the way back to 2011, when a man was charged for an incestuous encounter that occurred in 2008.

Apparently, the plumber, who was then 47 years old, had sex with his then 20-year-old daughter.

He was sentenced to three years’ jail, while his daughter was given a year’s probation.

Meanwhile, the act is considerably more prevalent overseas, with numerous horrific incestuous stories that have been published.

In one case, during the early 2000s, a German locksmith entered an actual relationship with his own biological sister.

They ended up giving birth to four children, three of whom faced severe disabilities upon birth.

In general, incest is considered a taboo that was present back in the ancient ages, but is immoral by today’s standards.

What makes incest even more incorrigible, however, is the abnormally high chance that incest-made offspring will turn out defective.
