Intimate Video of Miss Hong Kong Denice Lam Allegedly Circulating Online

Denice Lam is the newly-crowned Miss Hong Kong. However, after winning the title, more and more controversies about her just keeps popping up.

This time, the latest news around her involves a pornographic clip that claims the female in it is Lam.

However, Lam has quickly come out to talk about this issue, refuting the claims of the “leaker” of the “video”

Refuted Claims

In multiple media interviews, Lam mentioned that if one were to view the video, one would know that it is not her at first glance.

To safeguard her image, TVB has lodged a police report regarding the situation in hopes that the law can get to the bottom of it.

In other reports, the person who leaked the video clip to the media also sent over two other intimate photos, and they further added that they have “inside information” on Denice and her life.

According to media outlets, the photos apparently show a close-up shot of the woman’s face as well as the topless view of a woman beside a man.

However, one media company refuted these claims saying that the person in the photo was not Lam and suspected it was taken from an adult video to make it look like it was Lam.

When asked if she knew who the “leakers” were, Lam replied that she knew and told the reporters that she hoped they would stop and not continue such nonsense.

Controversies Surrounding Lam

Since she won her Miss Hong Kong title, the media cannot seem to give her a break.

People even went to dig out one of her interviews back in 2020, where she talked about her controversial sex life.

In that interview, she talked about how she preferred Scorpio men to others as they were more handsome and performed better in bed. She also mentioned that she had five partners that she did the deed.

When asked if she ever regretted saying those in the public domain, she replied with a “no” adding that it is a new era and that these kinds of relationships are normal.

However, this did not stop the public from becoming outraged.

Some netizens who disagreed with Lam’s words called her many names, one of which is “nymphomanic”.

The controversies did not stop there. Another controversy surrounding Lam was that she was in a mountain of debt, owing massive amounts to various credit card companies.

Media reports state that she owed up to HK$500,000 (S$87,000).

Due to this, many people online have speculated that Lam joined the competition in hopes of being able to pay off the debts that she had collected.

However, Lam has also stepped up to refute these claims.

In an interview, Lam mentioned that her credit card limit was only HK$10,000 (S$1,800) and that there was no way that she could have racked up such a huge amount, especially not HK$500,000 (S$87,000), calling the rumours “fake news”.

In addition to her statement, she says she does not even use credit cards anymore, citing that she prefers to use cash.

Lam’s Paternal Father

For those who do not know yet, Lam’s father is the 80’s TVB heartthrob Wilson Lam.

Wilson Lam was apparently dubbed Hong Kong’s most handsome man at the peak of his career.

However, despite the success, his relationship with his wife was a rocky one as his wife left him when Denice was three, bringing Denice along with her.

The divorce caused the loss of connection between the parent and daughter, but after about a decade, they managed to reunite with the help of a few of their relatives.

Despite the many years apart, photos found online showed the father and daughter to be quite close.

In an interview, Lam mentioned that her father told her not to take the rumours seriously, and it is part and parcel of this line of business, showing a caring side of Wilson Lam for his daughter.

Crowned Miss Hong Kong in 2022

At the age of 27, she took part in the Miss Hong Kong Beauty Pageant. This made her the oldest contestant that was participating in the pageant.

Despite going up against many younger contestants, such as Cecca Xu and Joey Leung, she emerged victorious as Miss Hong Kong 2022.

Besides being the oldest among all the participants, Lam was also the seventh mixed contestant in history to win the Miss Hong Kong title.

It is said that Lam’s mother has both Chinese and English heritage.

Not Her First Beauty Pageant

If one digs deeper into Lam’s past, one will know that this is not Lam’s first Miss Hong Kong beauty Pageant.

Apparently, back in 2016, Lam also joined the competition. However, she was quickly knocked out of the beauty pageant in the early stage.

Despite being knocked out, Lam stood strong and decided to enter the world of showbiz and modelling.

She kicked started her career with manager Kim Chou, who is a well-known manager that manages celebrities such as Angelababy
