This Jaywalker Deserves to be CSI-ed Because He’s an Overaged Strawberry

So we’ve been categorising some people as part of the ‘strawberry generation’, who are supposed to be sheltered, entitled, and ‘easily bruised’ (where the metaphor originated). This was generally used to describe younger people, until now.

In a video captured by an in-car camera, a male pedestrian, who looked at least 30 to 40 years old, jaywalked in front of the car. That in itself is nothing much, to be honest. Who hadn’t jaywalked once in a while when they were in a rush? But this guy. This guy took jaywalking to another level.

How does one get so entitled? Brother, that’s an actual two-ton car. You’re going to lose in a head-on fight.

He walked across the road at the junction of Orchard Road and Mount Elizabeth without looking out for oncoming vehicles, and the owner of the camera had to stop to give way, even though there were no traffic lights.

In response, the man stared at the driver, seemingly daring them to run him over. He was literally asking for it. Unfortunately, it is currently still illegal as shit to run over assholes.

As the car honked once, the pedestrian even gave them a middle finger. You know what, maybe he does have the right of way. Somebody check if the road is his grandfather’s road.

That was a serious request, though. Somebody find out who this guy is, so we may all learn from his mistakes and relentlessly mock him.

But then again, we do not condone any trolling or ridiculing of anyone online, so let’s just let this be a lesson for all jaywalkers: cars nowadays have eyes. Don’t pray pray, please.
