From giant purses to giant heads, it seems like good things come in large sizes.
This time, we have a giant Kaws art sculpture coming to Marina Bay.
Giant Kaws Art Sculpture will Be at The Float @ Marina Bay from 13 Nov
Renowned American artist and designer, Brain Donnelly or professionally known as, Kaws, will be displaying his work at The Float @ Marina Bay from 13 Nov onwards.
Previously, Kaws’ artwork could be seen as a fashion icon, donning on T-shirts and canvas bags in Uniqlo.
This time Kaws is going giant, the 42m-long inflatable Companion character and a miniature version of itself in a reclined position will be seen relaxing by the bay for a week.
This is part of Kaws:Holiday tour where Singapore is the seventh stop since 2018. Previously, the tour includes Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong Japan, the United Kingdom and even outer space.
The art installation will be opened to the public from 14 Nov. It will lounge around until 21 Nov where it will leave for its next destination.
This is also the last major event to be held at The Float @ Marina Bay before the start of its redevelopment in March 2022.
