KFC Launching Hotblaze Grilled Chicken for a Limited Time From 17 April 2019

I’m betting every cent I’ve in my wallet that two years back, if you’d told someone that you were going to eat healthy in KFC, they’d call you crazy.

But fast-forward to 2019, and “healthy KFC” is no longer an oxymoron: with the introduction of their Grilled Chicken back in July last year, it’s now possible to have a low-calorie protein-rich meal in a place that’s popular for its fried chicken.

Lest you’ve not tried their grilled chicken before, here’s a snippet from our review back then:

The chicken tastes as good as it looks. Unlike normal grilled chicken out there, this lovely piece of grilled Chicken from KFC is sweet with a hint of spice.

And by hint, I mean spicy enough to drive my weak-ass colleague crying to the toilet. Now, don’t let that scare you because he finds KFC’s chilli spicy. Yes, the ones that we’ve always thought was sweet and nothing else.

And the looks?

Powderful.

Now, KFC has tinkered with this masterpiece and decided to spice things up a little.

Hotblaze Grilled Chicken

Before moving on, here’s a disclaimer I die-die have to add: while I agree with my colleague back then about the grilled chicken, it has somehow lost its touch in recent months.

Either it’s always out of stock, or it tastes a tad bit saltier.

Maybe it’s just me, but anyways.

From 17 April 2019 (which is tomorrow), KFC is launching yet another grill chicken that’s sure to thrill. The all-new KFC HotBlaze Grilled Chicken is a specially created flavour that will be available exclusively for a limited time only from 17 April 2019 to the month of May, while stocks last.

And here’s what KFC mentioned about their latest delight:

“Dialling up the spice levels and using a different marinade (from the Signature), the whole quarter fresh chicken leg, is now marinated in a special spice rub of chillies, fragrant oregano and black pepper, before going into the oven and grilled to juicy perfection.

“Made with herbs, spices and everything nice, the HotBlaze Grilled Chicken is an all-new limited edition grilled with unlimited flavour”

KFC might be over 60 years old now, but they’re still in the social media game.

Sharing the stage with the HotBlaze Grilled Chicken is the limited-edition KFC Sneakers which you might been seeing on social media.

This original hand-drawn design with signature KFC icons and brand colours of red, white and black is available exclusively in Singapore and in limited quantities. Unlike the HotBlaze Grilled Chicken, these sneakers are not for sale.

They will pick eight winners who will (literally) walk away with these limited-edition KFC Sneakers.
