When was the last time you travelled out of the country?

Or even planned about doing it?

One place I miss going to is Japan.

While I could list off a dozen reasons, one of the more prominent reasons would be their amazing food.

But KFC might be able to change that for us with a new breakfast item.

Japan-Style Porridge

Not in the streets of Shinjuku but down the street to your nearest KFC.

According to KFC Singapore, they’ve released a new spin on their porridge known as the Ohayo Porridge.

Aside from the original chicken and porridge recipe, it’s also topped with special Furikake that’s a blend of dried fish, sesame seeds and seaweed seasoning.

Do you want to know what’s even better?

This item is actually available now.

Ohayo! Warm yourself up with porridge that's freshly made and slow-cooked to perfection with juicy chunks of signature…

However, keep in mind that this is a breakfast only item, meaning that it’s only available until 11am each day.

It’s also a limited time product so don’t wait too long to get it!

The Ohayo Porridge will be available for dine-in, takeaway, and KFC Delivery. You can also find more details at www.kfc.com.sg.

Do double check the allergen warnings to see if you can consume this product, as well.

KFC has actually been on a roll with their promotions and products and the Ohayo Porridge was just one of them.

If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know that massively popular Devil Drumlets have also returned.

I can already recall the burn of my stomach-downwards. It was pretty worth it, though.

These hot drumlets have been available since 2 September but will only stay until 6 October this year.

So you only have two weeks left to feel the burn.

And you know how we talked about Japan earlier? Well, let’s also take a quick trip to Thailand as well.

Previously only available in Thailand, the Lays KFC potato chips are also available in Singapore at Golden Mile Complex’s Thai Supermarket.

This item has been available since 14 September, but it is extremely popular and last we heard, it’s already sold out.

Don’t worry, though, you can pre-order some of that spicy goodness for yourself.

Among a bunch of bad things this year, being a KFC fan definitely isn’t one of them.
