Since the dawn of video games, one question has plagued the minds of gamers worldwide.
Which console is the best?
In the present day, that rivalry continues with the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X and S being released not long ago.
But, perhaps, all console wars would soon stop.
Maybe one day, one that could unite all consoles would come from the most unlikely of places.
Though, whatever you may have thought of, you probably didn’t think it would come from KFC of all places.
The KFC Gaming Console is Real & It Can Really Keep KFC Chicken Warm
Yep, absolutely no one was prepared for this.
Aptly named the KFConsole, it comes with something no console in the history of mankind has ever seen.
Which is a “chicken chamber” that supposedly keeps your chicken warm while you play.
And before you can even squint your eyes, we’ll make you squint harder as there’s actually a verified Twitter page that’s been used for advertising said console.
The console wars are 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓.

The tweet, showing an extremely serious promotion of the console, has garnered over 2 million views as of this writing.
It also promised to take gaming innovation to the next level.
As much of a joke as this can look, guess you could say they didn’t chicken out on this reveal.
For now, the console has no official release date.
Some Details Of The Console Have Been Released
If you go back a few months, you’d actually realised this wasn’t the console’s first reveal.
Way back in June, a video surfaced and revealed the KFConsole, but netizens brushed it off as a joke or made ironic remarks about it.
But it might be pretty real now considering that, allegedly, this console was made in partnership with some big companies.
They are Cooler Master, Intel, Asus and Seagate.
Details of some specifications have also been revealed.
The KFConsole will supposedly run games in 4k, which only certain versions of the Playstation and Xbox can do.
It’s even touted to be able to run Virtual Reality games.
The GPU slot is also able to be swapped out, which would be something you usually do for custom PC builds.
And if you think your 60FPS games are hot, the console will allegedly run games at 240FPS.
The Most Unique Feature
But how can we forget the aforementioned main attraction: the Chicken Chamber.
It will apparently use the systems natural heat and airflow system to keep the chicken hot as you play your games.
But the thing is, you wouldn’t want your console to get too hot for fear of overheating, right?
Yet, if you’re going to leave food inside there to warm it up, wouldn’t hotter be better?
2020 is almost ending and this certainly wasn’t a question anyone thought they would be asking.
And, as weird as this may be, KFC’s foray into gaming can be seen from a now year-old title in the form of a dating simulation game called I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator.
Once again, this is a real game made by KFC and is currently free-to-play on Steam.
If you’ve reached the end of the article, you’re probably like my editor and me, asking, “Why does this exist?”
But you know what, let’s just see how this development unfolds.
