King Charles Reportedly Told Harry That Meghan Markle Wasn’t Welcome in Balmoral When Queen Elizabeth II Was Dying

Queen Elizabeth II’s death is undoubtedly a very shocking news and it is normal for families to gather together during a person’s final moments.

However, this is not the case for the Royal Family as King Charles III allegedly informed Prince Harry that his wife, Meghan Markle, was not welcome to enter Balmoral Castle when the Queen was about to pass away.

Apparently, King Charles III told Prince Harry that it was not an appropriate time for Meghan to be at Balmoral Castle at a time of sadness. The King further pointed out that Kate, the wife of Prince William, would also not be making a trip to Balmoral Castle.

This led to Prince Harry making the trip to Balmoral Castle alone.

Could Not Arrive in Time

While traveling in the air and on his way to Balmoral Castle, Prince Harry received the announcement of his grandmother’s death.

He eventually reached the castle one and a half hours after the announcement.

However, it is known that only King Charles III and his wife were the only ones present during the Queen’s passing.

The next day, Prince Harry left the castle in the early morning to catch a commercial flight back to London.

A passenger on the same flight told The Sun that the prince did not move throughout the duration of the flight and that he was visibly saddened over the passing of the Queen.

Tension Between the Couple and the Royal Family

The tension between the couple and the Royal Family first started when the couple announced that they will be stepping down from their positions as senior members of the Royal Family to pursue their own projects in the United States.

Tensions eventually grew when the couple made claims in interviews about the Royal Family mistreating them within the family.

This led Prince William and Prince Harry to become estranged.

The Two Princes Reunited to Visit Windsor Castle

Although the brothers’ relationship drifted after rising tensions within the family, the two seemingly look to be okay once more after their joint appearance at Windsor Castle along with their wives.

They even arrived in the same vehicle and wore matching outfits to greet and thank the crowd for paying their respects to the late Queen.

Who is Meghan Markle?

Meghan Markle is more commonly known for her acting, specifically in the American TV series Suits, where she acted as Rachel Zane.

She was initially married to American film producer, Trevor Engelson in 2010 but the couple got divorced shortly after in 2013. In 2016, Meghan and Harry announced that they were see each other and eventually got married in 2017.
