Last week was a particularly tragic one.
Two fatal traffic accidents were reported, a domestic helper died after allegedly falling from the sixth storey of an HDB unit, and two teenage girls were also found dead at the foot of an HDB block in Toa Payoh last Saturday.
Now, it seems that a murder took place on the same day as the last incident mentioned.

Similar Incident Occurred in 2017
A similar incident occurred in 2017, where a man ended up killing someone he knew after an argument.
On 16 August 2017, Mohammad Rosli Abdul Rahim, 51, brutally murdered his housemate, 35-year-old Mohammad Roslan Zaini.

Money.Â
Before they met each other, Rosli was homeless and slept at void decks in Bukit Batok. He later slept outside his acquaintance’s unit at Block 165A, Teck Whye Crescent.
When he was living in that area, Roslan approached him and suggested that they co-rent his flat together.
However, Rosli began to suspect that Roslan was overcharging him for the rent.
On that fateful day, the two men began arguing over money. Angered by Roslan’s comments, Rosli took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his housemate in the chest.
Rosli stabbed him twice more in the forearm and thigh, leaving him with wounds at least 11cm deep.
