Man Who Dangled from Void Deck Ceiling in Viral Video Charged with Public Nuisance

It’s common to see superspies climbing through vents in movies. But do they dangle upside-down and scream incoherently?

A man decided to channel his inner Hawkeye in the ceilings of a Pasir Ris HDB void deck, and ended up getting arrested.

Dangles from Void Deck Vent

A viral video showed a man dangling from a vent opening as police officers come to surround him.

With the intensity of a horror movie jumpscare, the man’s upper body suddenly dropped out of the vent. He has upgraded from ‘dangling’ to ‘swinging dangerously’.

The police officers quickly rushed to grab the man’s arms before he falls and cracks his skull, but the man suddenly started screaming. He let go of the officer’s hand and went back into the vent.

There were a few residents who stepped forward to try to get the man down, but they were held back by the police.
