Give your girl a bouquet of roses and it will wither within a few days. What’s more, it’s pretty mainstream to use flowers to express your love.
Hence, this man decided to resolve both problems by coming out a solution- a bouquet of money. Yeap, you’ve heard me. This man gave his girl a bouquet of money, worth over $2,000. That’s no small amount for a bouquet!
A Bouquet of Money
Earlier this month, the man reportedly walked into a flower shop in Changchun, Jilin province and handed over 10,000 RMB in crisp banknotes to the presumably befuddled owner. Reason? The man said that he wanted to give his girlfriend a “real gift” to start off the Year of the Rooster right. Woah, sign me up, please. I would love to receive a “real gift” too.
Of course, it’s not common to give a bouquet of money to your partner, therefore his actions had attracted several netizen comments. Some commented that it is much more practical than a bouquet of flowers, as flowers would just wither and die.
Others seemed to disagree with the man’s methods. They pointed out that it is too much effort to unwrap the rolled up bills one by one. It might have been better to just be given money and then a flower instead. Oh, roll over, I wouldn’t mind any other way as long as it’s money true love.
Tested and Proven
Apparently, this idea was proven to be a successful one last year when attempted by another man. One young man proposed to his girlfriend with a bouquet full of 5,000 yuan in cash. Yes, she said yes without any hesitation. I mean, who wouldn’t?
It doesn’t mean that every girl would love the idea of having a bouquet of money being represented by your love. Some would very much prefer the traditional roses, while others would prefer food. Yeah, a bouquet of nuggets sounds awesome, doesn’t it? I mean, I wouldn’t mind receiving one. Anyone?
