Man Tries to Shame Grab Driver for Going for Toilet Break; Got Blasted Instead

The call of nature is a fickle one.

Sometimes it refuses to sound out when you need it to.

And sometimes when you don’t want it to make a single sound, it starts buzzing like your morning alarm. Only difference? There’s no snooze button.

So yeah, the call of nature is a problematic one.

And for this driver, it certainly was. It even got to a point where he had to leave his passenger waiting.

Unfortunately, his passenger wasn’t exactly the empathetic kind.

And hence…

STOMP Wars – Return of the Stomper

On 25 September 2017, Stomper Shah had booked a GrabCar ride at Block 319 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 at around 5.30pm.

The driver picked him up, but it wasn’t long before he parked his car in front of a row of parked cars. A befuddled Shah was then told, “Give me five minutes to go toilet”.

Before Shah could say anything, the driver had disappeared from his seat, and was spotted walking towards a coffee shop.

According to Shah, the keys were still in the ignition, and the car was running. Additionally, the driver had left the car in a position such that it was blocking the taxi parked in the lot beside him.

The taxi could only leave when Shah’s driver returned, which took about 3-5 minutes. On his return, he drove off, without any explanation.

Shah said that because of the incident, he felt the need to grant the driver a 1-star rating.

“I think that this is not right. What if I had to get somewhere urgently? If I was a bad person I could have just driven off with his car.”

After Stomp posted the video on their Facebook page, the comments section was on fire. Literally. There were so many burns I reckon you need 100 burn heals to even scrape the surface.

However, the victim might not be the one you’re thinking of.

And that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Honestly, I feel it’s pretty subjective.

I know for a fact that when your ‘little boy’ is threatening to do the Wild, Wild, Wet like a full-on garden hose, you don’t really pay any attention to the details, hence the slip-shod parking and urgent farewell.

But what after that? To me, I feel that he should have provided an explanation after his return. To be fair, he did leave his passenger hanging like Rapunzel’s hair, and he could at least jolt that confused face with some clarification.

And well, this is kinda unimportant, but he could always clear his bladder before picking up a passenger, you know? Gotta stay prepared, my man.

As for the passenger… really? Your driver was gone for 3-5 minutes and you’re crying to your mummy already?

Sure, the driver was partially at fault. But you’re a guy; you would have understood the call of nature before. It’s like your girlfriend: totally unpredictable, and if allowed to let loose, will cause utter chaos. And here, the driver’s girlfriend was threatening to unleash the goddamn Armageddon, so pardon him if he can’t talk much beforehand because he has to let the monster loose.

Give him a chance, bro. Forgive and forget. Like the ancient Tibetans once said: “If you petty, your woman Changi Terminal 4; if you generous, your woman basketballs.”

Be like the Tibetans; do the right thing.
