Man Went Apeshit After Getting Rejected in Tinder; Netizens Then Dug Out More Experiences

While the majority of us have already thrown away what’s left in 2017 to welcome all positivism in 2018… it seems like someone is not ready.

And being the informative team that we are, we had to dig out this piece of interesting 2017 year-end news for all, despite the ‘Happy New Year’ everyone’s wishing everyone online & offline.

Yup, not a very ‘Happy New Year’ for some apparently.

Girls and guys who use Tinder, or any online dating platforms, here’s the news about Mr. Tan, the man whose emotions went wild after being rejected from a Tinder date.

According to Melody Yap, also known as LadyIronChef / Brad Lau’s wife, she posted this piece of news on Facebook on 30 December 2017, warning everyone of this “psychotic creep”.

Here’s Melody Yap’s side of story:

One of her girlfriends who matched with Mr. Tan on Tinder went out for a lunch date together with him on 30 December 2017. I guess the date didn’t go well and led to a rejection thereafter.

According to Melody Yap, her girlfriend “rejected him in a civil manner on WhatsApp” but Mr. Tan could not handle the rejection and went crazy with his words, insulting and even threatening to visit her at her workplace (she’s a teacher) to “lodge a complaint”.

We aren’t sure what happened during the date or what was said before the above WhatsApp screenshot but what we do know is this: The duo have “only met once”.

As per screenshot above, Mr. Tan said he “didn’t even do anything” but the other party “have to throw back all these right back at (him)”. Then he started to send many photos of the other party he took from her Facebook profile so the “whole world will know about (her)”.

But I guess it’s the other way round… now that the whole world knows about Mr. Tan instead. Hmm.

And what follows after is a whole thread of what I call… verbal vomiting.

He said he has been “very nice” but she chose to “cross the line”. Some invisible line that we don’t know what he’s referring to. But more verbal vomiting for those who can’t get enough of this juice:

He started crossing the line himself and hurled this at her: “Any guys can just throw money in your face and go to bed with you.”

And he went on typing his essay.

So anyone in the right mind would block him, which the lady did on WhatsApp but… Mr. Tan turned to SMS & continued his discourse.

While I was trying to read this objectively at the start… I don’t think I can do it now that he’s slandering her parents – calling her mother a “pig” and father an “imbecile”.

His hatred goes beyond that to the lady’s future kids, that they will be “plagued with illnesses and diseases”. The rest, you can interpret by yourselves.

And it appears that after Melody Yap shared this incident on her Instagram, many other ladies came forward sharing their personal unpleasant experiences with Mr. Tan.

According to Melody Yap, their encounters were mostly similar: that he couldn’t handle the rejection and started insulting & threatening women.

The above screenshot is only one out of the many victims who went through the same treatment from Mr. Tan.

A police report has since been made against him, with those WhatsApp conversations submitted as evidences of harassment.

Be right back, need to clear my mind of this claptrap.
