This won’t have any impact on you if you’re lucky enough to knock off at 6am daily, but if you’re one who has to work long hours, this is a godsend.
McDonald’s is finally extending its delivery hours to…2am.
By now you should be thinking, Wait, they didn’t do that? Thought all McDonald’s outlets are 24 hours?
Well, yes: ever since their reopening, 24-hour McDonald’s outlets have become part of history; in fact, when they first reopened, they closed at 9pm.
That was slowly extended to 12am, and from today onwards, it’ll be 2am.
However, you still can’t head to the restaurant between 12am to 2am; it’s only available for McDelivery, GrabFood and selected Drive-Thrus.
Here’s their post that’ll make all night owls smile:

Lest you can’t read:
Attention night owls! From tomorrow, 17 August, the operating hours of McDelivery®, GrabFood and selected Drive-Thrus will be extended till 2am! Do note that this won’t apply to dine-in and takeaways as the majority of our restaurants will only be open till 12am.
No matter the hour, safety will always be our top priority. McDelivery® remains 100% contactless, only accepting contactless payments. This is on top of our daily safety measures, including regular temperature-taking, handwashing, SafeEntry registration and increased sanitisation of our restaurants and delivery bags.
To find your nearest late-night Drive-Thru and our restaurants’ opening hours, visit mcdonalds.com.sg for more info.
See you soon!
Lest you’re one who feels that this makes no difference, you probably aren’t one who’s worked until 12am.
By that time, usually, almost all eateries would’ve closed and the only option was often McDonald’s or microwaved food for your late dinner.
