Have you ever wondered why McDonald’s Coke tastes so good?
Like, it’s so good that it triumphs over every Coke out there, whether it’s from Burger King or Domino’s.
You start to wonder, “Am I hallucinating? If I didn’t know better I would have thought that McDonald’s Coke’s actually better than the others. That doesn’t make any sense, does it? I mean it’s all the same thing. Coke.”
Well, not quite right, buddy, if you thought that way. For I have a piece of news for you.
McDonald’s Coke is better, and it’s not a fluke.
It’s meant to be that way.
Making Sure That They Serve the Best ‘Pop Fizz’
Firstly, McDonald’s have their supply of Coke syrup delivered in “special stainless steel containers”, instead of the generic run-of-the-mill plastic packaging most retailers use.
This helps to ensure that the drink’s freshness and unique flavour are well-kept.
Secondly, McDonald’s are stringent on the preparation process.
According to their website, the water and Coca-Cola syrup are pre-chilled before entering their fountain dispensers with the ratio of syrup set to allow for ice to melt.
They also keep their fountain beverage system cold so your drink can always be at the peak of refreshing. In order to ensure their drinks are always meeting a gold standard, they have proper filtration methods in place.
For the nay-sayers, go on and try their Coke when you’re free.
You’ll never see it the same way ever again 🙂
