Opportunists are everywhere.
There are some who will steal your purse if you happened to drop yours at a MRT station.
And there are others who will swipe a couple more freebies from the table you’re supposed to be guarding when your head was turned.
In this case, a Bangladeshi foreign worker decided to take the opportunity to “get some” when he found himself alone in a house with a Filipino maid.
Foreign Worker Molested & Kissed Maid While Employer Was Waiting Outside the House
The 36-year-old Bangladeshi worker, Emmaman, was a gardener, back when he did “the deed”.
He and his boss went to a client’s house to do some gardening work.
Although the client isn’t at home, he did have a 37-year-old Filipino maid under his employ.
The maid opened the door to let the worker in while his boss waited outside.
She led Emmaman to the second and third floors to do his work.
Once he’s done, he didn’t leave the house immediately.
Instead, Emmaman stood at the foot of the staircase exiting to the first floor, blocking the way of the maid behind him.
The maid then asked him why he’s not moving, but Emmaman didn’t reply.
Likely weirded out by his behaviour, the maid shrugged it off and decided to edge past the guy and go downstairs herself.
Who knows, the man suddenly and forcefully hugged the maid from behind and proceeded to molest her by touching her breasts and kissing her neck.
Naturally, the maid was startled, frightened, and started to struggle to escape from his unwanted embrace.
After breaking free from the molester, she rushed to the bedroom on the first floor and hid inside, refusing to come out.
Seeing that he no longer has an easy target to take advantage of, the Bangladeshi worker exited the house nonchalantly and left the place with his boss being none the wiser.
When her employer returned, the maid immediately told her employer what happened.
The employer brought her to the police station to make a report the very next day.
The Worker Will Be Sentenced at a Later Date
Emmaman wasn’t represented by a lawyer in court.
After admitting to the indecent assault charge, he was tearful and asked the judge for leniency.
He claimed that he regrets his actions and will not re-offend.
The Bangladeshi worker will be sentenced next month.
