As you may know, motorists pass by all sorts of things while they’re on the road.
This includes plastic bags, used cigarettes, and very rarely, a gracious driver.
But on Wednesday, several motorists in Singapore witnessed something they’ve probably never seen before: a man lying naked in the middle of the road.

Naked Man Lies Flat in the Middle of a Busy Road; Driver Used His Car to Protect Man from Incoming Traffic
A video of a naked man lying in the middle of the road has been attracting the attention of netizens on social media.
The video was shared on the Facebook group ROADS.sg today (1 Apr).
According to ROADS.sg, the incident took place at Zion Road at around 4pm on Wednesday (31 March).
At the beginning of the video, we see a stationary car in the second lane from the right with its boot open, signalling that approaching motorists should filter to other lanes.
This is a rather common sight, as cars break down on the road all the time.
It’s only when the car recording the footage passes the stationary car that we learn why the driver had stopped.
A few metres ahead of the stationery car is a naked man sprawled in the middle of the same lane, without any seeming regard for his own safety.

Man Arrested By Police
Speaking to Mothership, the police said they received a call for assistance at the junction of Tiong Bahru Road and Zion Road at around 3.50pm on Wednesday.
The man, a 51-year-old, was arrested for appearing nude in a public place and suspected drug-related offences.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Similar Incident Occurred Last December
This calls to mind a similar incident which occurred last year in December.
Motorists here came across a woman sitting down in the middle of a road.

Even as the cars dart past her, the woman remains unperturbed and doesn’t even look up at the passing cars.
Approaching vehicles had to slow down and go around the lady, who looked rather confused as she sat down on the three-lane road.
Earlier that month, a 48-year-old woman stood in the middle of the junction between Rochor Road and Beach Road while it was raining.
The woman appeared to be holding up a photo to show to the motorists passing her.

The police later revealed that they had apprehended the woman under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act.
