Pokemon GO trainers, listen up! December 2016 is a great month for all of us because the game is finally getting new Pokemon!

This is especially awesome for people who belong to the Pokemon Fan Club, i.e. those who are in this game for the cute factor and not for battling.

7 New Baby Pokemon Added into the Game

When the news was first released by developers, they kept the identity of the new Pokemon a secret except for Pichu and Togepi. However, the identities of the baby Pokemon were ferreted out within hours.

According to online chatter, Togepi can evolve into 2nd-generation Pokemon, Togetic, with 50 rare candies.

How to Get Them

These new Pokemon are only available through egg hatching, so get your treads on and be prepared to walk. Either that or rent a car to bring you around all day and hatch the eggs.

Here’s what you got to do: make your way to a PokeStop where you’ll occasionally pick up an egg. Pray for one and start hatching the egg.

It’s been found that Igglypuff and Cleffa can be obtained from 2km eggs, while Pichu and Togepi can be hatched from 5km eggs

And the one that has players jumping mad was Elekid, Smoochum and Magmy which can only be obtained from 10km eggs

On a separate note, Pikachu is now getting into a festive mood! From now till 29th Dec, the Pikachu in game will be seen wearing a very cute santa hat. And what’s more impressive is even if you evolved Pikachu into Raichu, he will still be wearing a santa hat.
