The internet is a scary place.
Like really scary. Scarier than Yishun perhaps. Just read on and you’ll understand.
Disclaimer: No boba pearls were harmed in the making of this article. I think.
Previous Boba Challenge
The previous boba challenge was both challenging and offensive.
Here’s a sentence by our petite writer to sum it up:
At this point, I feel personally attacked by my Editor… Of all people to write about this, I’m the chosen one.
*Rolls eyes to the next dimension*
Also originating from Japan, a Japanese model, who’s known as @hcupadman on Twitter shared two videos of her drinking her a cup of latte which was nestled comfortably on her chest.
As shown below, one of the videos has since garnered 1.8 million views.
個人的な意見ですが
巨乳で良かったことは、1位 食べ過ぎてお腹出てもバレない
2位 たまに抜群に似合う服がある
3位 カフェラテ飲みながらパソコン打てるです。 pic.twitter.com/TF0FXzCOS0

And it soon caught on. Just when we thought nothing could top that.
This Came Along
There’s a new internet challenge, “Boba Nostrils” that might deeply disturb our bubble tea lovin’ souls.
According to World Of Buzz, Japanese netizens are shoving boba pearls up their nostrils and taking selfies.
No, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. The challenge lies in ensuring that the boba stays at the rim of the nostril without falling out.
Yes, this is truly an art form that will need years of training and precision.
If it’s any consolation, at least these heavily filtered but super cute girls are doing it too so you can load up on some eye candy.
You can go single.
You can go double.
And you can choose to have two black dots on your nose.
Don’t worry, there’s gender equality in this challenge – apparently, even guys enjoy doing this too.
Don’t try this at home kids.
But okay if you really want to, please only stick it up one nose, else you won’t be able to breathe. I don’t know about you but death by boba pearls is certainly not how I want to go.
Also, has anyone wondered what’ll happen if the boba pearl goes too far up your nose?
Just come to this app daily for any updates on this pearl-culiar challenge lah.
