There’s Now a New Place in Gardens by The Bay Whereby You Can Bring Your Pets To

If you are running out of places to go with your next date or you are just someone who wants to practice some self-love and take yourself out to one (hi-five), check out the new green space—the Active Garden—which was just unveiled on Friday, 2 April by none other than President Halimah Yacob herself.

Space Ideal for Outdoor Lovers

The Active Garden is free for admission (key for rising living costs these days) and can be found after taking a ten-minute walk from Bayfront MRT station.

The new attraction which was opened in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Gardens by the Bay spans about one and a half football fields.

Within the Active Garden, you can find a community garden, two lawns, fitness equipment suited for people of all ages, and the pet-friendly cafe, Mylo’s.

Huzzah for those who want to bring their precious fur babies to someplace new in Singapore.

(But please make sure that your pets are always on the leash and be gracious about cleaning up after them. Don’t be one of those kinds of people.)

If you are more interested in the community garden, don’t be shy and be open to learning more about growing your own produce as volunteers will be present to maintain the garden by preparing the soil, sowing seeds, and fertilising the plants there.

You can check out for future activities that will be held at the community garden here.

Other New Attractions such as an Artificial Garden

Aside from the Active Garden, another new attraction that will be available will be an artificial garden located inside the Cloud Forest dome. The artificial garden is named Ethereal White Persians—very mystique.

The artificial garden is a sculpture which features a cluster of white flowers that was created by American artist Dale Chihuly.

Still, we already know that rainy days (literally) lie ahead for all of us during the month of April—so remember to bring your umbrellas along when you visit the Active Garden at Gardens by the Bay for all the fun!
