New Year, Same Old Yishun as Cat Was Allegedly Abused & Killed

It’s the new year so we get to start with a clean slate—you know, what’s in the past is in the past. While this might be true for some people, I’m fairly certain there are some f*ckers out there who will never change.

As such, they should be placed behind bars. And today, we will be talking about the evil deeds of such an individual.

Here, take a look at this post for yourselves

On 21 Feb (Wed), photos of a deceased cat were uploaded onto the Yishun 326 Tabby cat Facebook page. The carcass was allegedly found at 147 Yishun Street 11.

The cat was found lying next to a wall, with blood stains on the floor around the cat. Its body was also in an unnatural shape, with its hind legs twisted in the opposite direction as compared to the front legs.

Furthermore, specks of blood could also be observed on the staircase leading down to the scene.

According to Ms Laura Ann Meranda, executive director of the Cat Welfare Society, the cat was found dead at the stairwell early on Wednesday morning. Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) has launched an investigation into the matter.

“The body position of the cat and the injuries inflicted (lean) towards possible abuse,” she said.

“AVA has started their investigations and will be establishing if the dead cat is indeed a roaming pet cat,” she added. “We advise all cat owners to keep their pet cats strictly indoors as this is the only measure to prevent any potential abuse in stairways or in areas where there is not much human traffic.”

Dammit, not again. Animal abusers are everywhere these days. These monsters should be placed behind bars—the world will definitely be a safer place without them running around.

The previous dead cat incident to happen in Yishun was back in Oct 2017 where a dead cat was discovered at Yishun St 22.
