We’ve all grown up with our Chou Chous, and we absolutely LOVE them.
Sure, they can be dirty, smelly and generally disgusting af (because we don’t ever wash them, or is it just me), but we love them for those very reasons. They just have that familiar and comforting vibe that puts us to rest when we lie in bed and try to sleep.
I mean, just look at this.
But guess what, it looks like we don’t need those damn smelly pillows anymore.
Because there’s something new in town that can put us to rest.
Literally.
Introducing corpse pillows, the best thing since Vegemite.
****ing hell.
Anyways, Thai online store Mon Hia (they are pretty reputable for making disgusting life-sized pillows, like lizards and even durians) are responsible for the production of these slick-looking babes.
And it’s not just the Indonesian’s Pocong design as well. The Japanese slit-mouthed female spirit Kuchisake-onna was roped in on conceptual designs too.
Look at this monstrosity – I mean beauty.
And after a bit of combing, I found out that Kuchisake-onna is a pretty gentle ghost that does primarily three things if you encounter it: kill you, rip you into half or slit your mouth from ear to ear so that you have the same Joker smile as her.
So yeah, she’s your best bet for a sleeping buddy.
Reactions
Mon Hia published a set of photos featuring the very loveable life-sized plush dolls, and it garnered quite a bit of traction.
Disturbing.
Delivery
It looks like spirits have learnt how to travel on planes too, because shipment to Singapore is actually available.
So if you for some reason ever wanted to share the same bed as a ghost, you can do so for just 1,444 baht (S$59), excluding shipping fees. Just hit them up on their Facebook page here.
Just a few months back, cockroach pillows were the trendiest gift in the world (at least, to ys).
And now this.
You know, this is actually a pretty exciting prospect.
If you have someone you hate a lot, this is a pretty good opportunity to get at him/her. Just get one of these cute pillows and mail it over to the person. #evilknowsnobounds
As for me, well…
If it was legal I would set fire to their production companies and end it once and for all, but since I’m a law abiding good citizen I can’t do that.
So I’m just stuck with advertising the availability of it to you guys.
And I just thought of an excellent notion.
If you’re scared of ghosts, you should definitely get it. Why?
If you think about it, you have nothing to fear when the scariest shit ever is literally in your face.
It’s like what they say, “You will never get anything done if you fear something forever, so why not embrace it and end it once and for all?”
