After a relationship ends, one of the first things that people might do to help them get over their ex is to delete the pictures that they have of them.

That or tear down the house.

relationship ends

Although it is difficult, it is a way to come to terms with the breakup fully and start working on moving on.

There are some people who prefer not to do so, which is totally fine as well. As long as the pictures don’t make you feel worse in any way.

But…of course, a line always has to be drawn. It is NEVER okay to publish or post explicit photos of your ex online, just because you’re jealous that they have found someone new.

Man Uploaded Obscene Photos of Ex-GF To A Porn Site

A 21-year old National Serviceman (NSF) was convicted last Wednesday, 11 Mar, after pleading guilty to four charges for distributing obscene material of his ex-girlfriend.

He cannot be named in order to protect the victim’s identity.

He found out that his ex-girlfriend was together with a new guy, and felt so upset about it that he decided to leak her intimate photos and videos to a porn website.

Photos and videos that he should have deleted long ago, in the first place.

Eventually, his ex-girlfriend found out about it and made a report to the police. But first, let’s backtrack a little.

Childhood Sweethearts

The victim met the accused back in 2008 when both of them were Primary 4 students.

They got into a romantic relationship when they were both in Secondary 1, and it lasted for 4 years until they were Secondary 4.

It ended because of his poor treatment of the victim.

Despite that, he still tried to reconcile with her many times after their break up, and he became more fed up and disgruntled after each time that he failed to do so.

That should have already been a huge sign for him to give up, and move on.

But not for this guy.

Kept Her Old Obscene Photos & Videos on a Hard Disk

During their relationship, the victim had sent him nude photos and videos of herself via Whatsapp. This means that they were taken when she was still underage, and the accused was aware of that as well.

However, that did not stop him when he decided to upload them to a porn website.

Despite them breaking up, he had actually kept all of the material that she had sent him on an external hard disk, saving it for his own viewing pleasure.

This was unknown to the victim, who eventually found a new boyfriend in 2016.

The accused was unhappy about this in October 2018, and thus he started uploading the photos and videos to a porn site and forum. He did so a total of 12 times from October to December 2018.

Interacted With “Fans” Who Viewed His Content

All of the material that he uploaded was posted by accounts that he created using her pictures as profile pictures. This would probably make it seem like she was uploading it herself.

Now, here’s where it gets weird:

As if uploading her private photos and videos were not bad enough, he started interacting with her “fans” on the porn site through the comments section and even encouraged them to take videos of themselves performing sex acts while viewing what he had uploaded.

Well, luckily, his ex-girlfriend came to find out about what he was doing eventually and she made a police report on 28 Dec 2018.

The accused has since deactivated his accounts and removed the material that he posted.

He is currently out on bail of $5,000 and will be back in court on 16 April 2020.

For each charge of circulating the obscene material, he can be jailed for up to three months, or fined, or both.

On a side note, it’s a good rule of thumb (for both guys and girls) to not send any explicit photos to anybody else.

Sexting is great but only if you keep it to text.
