It’s never totally peaceful in a relationship, as couples, both young and old can attest to.

However, how you handle your conflicts, on the other hand, will determine how long your relationship last.

And this couple we’re going to talk about, it seems, might just last a long, long time.

Warning, it might be too cute to read in the morning.

Wife Serves Plain Rice Bento Set After Argument with Husband But There’s Actually Meat Underneath

On 2 Dec 2020, a Japanese man took to Twitter to show the lunchbox his wife had made for him that day.

The picture shows a lunchbox with pickles and some greens.

According to the man, they had gotten into an argument the day before.

He assumed that this is his wife’s form of petty revenge.

However, moments later, he updated his Twitter with a pleasant surprise hidden within the lunchbox.

Turns out, while his wife had wanted to show her displeasure, she still couldn’t bear the thought of him just eating rice and vegetables, and had hidden the meat below a generous layer of white rice.

Isn’t that just too cute?

He also shared with the Twitter world how much he loves his wife.

Argument Officially Over

Well, it seems that his wife is satisfied with making a point and, on the next day, made him a bento lunchbox that’s seemingly on the next level.

It comes complete with perfect yellow, fluffy omelette, a generous serving of meet and red ketchup slathered on top.

Looks like the couple’s relationship has just gotten stronger than ever.

True Love

While arguments and anger can arise in a relationship, this couple truly showed that no matter how mad one can get, the love and concern you have for the better half in a relationship will never recede.

So the next time you get into an argument with your partner, it might be a good idea to learn from this couple and learn to forgive fast.

After all, while you might feel a vindictive thrill from making the other party “suffer as much as you have”, you’ll feel worse-off in the long-run.

As my newly-engaged friend would say, a happy wife/husband is a happy life.
