PMD Rider Stood Up & Grabbed Mop to Hit Taxi Driver, Resulting in a “Mini MMA Session”

Road rage is not uncommon nowadays.

There have been several instances of road rage this year, such as the family fight in Joo Chiat and a cyclist who jumped onto a moving car at East Coast Road.

A new video has surfaced, showing a PMD rider using a mop to attack a taxi driver.

Here is what happened.

PMD Rider Used Mop to Attack Taxi Driver

Earlier this month, on 1 August 2023, a post surfaced on SGRV FRONT MAN’s Facebook group.

The video in the post appears to have been filmed from an HDB flat overlooking a car park. What is interesting, though, is what happened in the car park.

The video shows a black and red PMD in the middle of the road. A blue taxi is parked next to it, horizontally.

An elderly man in a checkered shirt can be seen walking towards another group of men, pointing his fingers threateningly.

He was presumably sitting on the PMD right before this video was filmed.

The said elderly man then walked away purposefully.

The video commentary shares some information about what sparked the confrontation. Apparently, the taxi reversed and likely almost hit the PMD rider.

Shouts can then be heard in the background, and the video shows the elderly man walking back to the scene.

The only difference is that he is now clutching a mop as he shuffles towards the group of men.

The elderly man grabs the collar of one of the men standing around and then starts to attack one of the other men in the group using the mop.

Several vicious whacks later, the elderly man finds himself overpowered and on the floor.

Taxi Driver Retaliated, Leading to a “Mini MMA Session”

The man “attacked” by the mop is now the attacker, throwing punches at the elderly man lying on the floor.

The video commentary continues, saying that this is “rabak” and that “both uncles” are in a fight.

Indeed, the caption of the Facebook post aptly describes this altercation between the two men as a “mini mma session”.

As the two men continue to struggle and grapple with each other, two other bystanders come into the picture to stop the men from fighting.

Other bystanders also join in to break up the fight, leading to the two men in a terse standoff with each other.

The video ends without showing the “conclusion” of the fight and whether the two men made up.
