Ramadan Bazaar at Geylang Serai, Woodlands
The Ramadan Bazaar at Geylang Serai has always been one of the main highlights of the year for the Muslim community. Staked out in dazzling and multi-coloured lights and the nostalgic scents wafting from street food stalls, it’s a foodie’s dream.
For two years, Singapore’s Malay and Muslim communities were unable to visit the bazaar due to COVID-19 constraints.
Thankfully, that didn’t happen this year and Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2022, as well as its counterpart, the Ramadan Souk market at Kampong Gelam, will operate until 1 May 2022.
There are also Ramadan bazaars in Woodlands starting from 15 and 16 April. BazaRia Marsiling will be located next to Woodlands MRT Station, operating from 10am to 10pm from 15 April to 2 May.
Bazar Untuk Rayat, or Bazaar for The People, will be located at Woodlands Sports Pavillion.
It’ll operate from 10am to 10pm, from 16 April to 1 May.
