It’ll Be Raining on Most Days in the First Half of May 2022 But Temperature Could Hit 35°C on Some Days

In a continuation of the wet and warm weather we’ve been experiencing lately, it’ll continue to rain for the first half of May 2022, alongside sweltering weather.

Thundery showers are to be expected, as well as frequent lightning and gusty winds. Rainfall will be at near-normal levels, however.

The daily temperature will approximately range from 24-34 degrees, but may reach heights of 35 degrees on some days, while rainy days may see temperatures drop to 23 degrees. Phew.

For the month of April, the daily maximum temperature was above 34 degrees Celsius on 13 days, with the highest temperature of 36.8 degrees Celsius recorded at Admiralty on 1 April 2022.

As we’ve seen from the more-than-frequent showers, about half the island recorded above-normal rainfall in April.
