If you didn’t grow up watching an episode of Running Man at least once in your life, it’s almost like you’ve been living under a rock!
First aired in 2010, Running Man is a South Korean variety series that receives much global fan attention. The series involves celebrities taking on missions, competing for their teams, and trying to avoid punishments.
Each episode typically includes a mix of chaotic games, clever banter, and a star-studded cast, which has made it a global sensation for years.
But here’s the kicker: Some of its cast members were recently spotted right here in Singapore.
Just imagine the show’s crazy challenges unfolding at popular attractions in Singapore. Picture them racing through Gardens by the Bay or solving puzzles in Chinatown – it would be an experience like no other.
Running Man Members Spotted At Lau Pa Sat
As Shin Min Daily News reported, many netizens spotted Running Man hosts Song Ji-hyo, Yoo Jae-seok, and Ji Seok-jin at Incheon airport on Saturday (4 November 2023).
It seemed that the cast and crew wasted no time upon landing in Singapore that very day, diving straight into filming.
Consequently, the entire crew, which includes Song Ji-hyo, Yoo Jae-seok, Ji Seok-jin, Ha Ha, Kim Jong-kook, and Yang Se-chan, likely arrived in Singapore later that evening, promptly commencing their shoot amidst the hustle and bustle of Singapore’s historic hawker centre, Lau Pa Sat.
Imagine you’re enjoying an impromptu dinner with friends, savouring delicious satay, and suddenly spot your favourite South Korean idols at the same hawker centre.
That’s exactly what happened to some lucky diners last weekend.
Not only did the stars choose to film at the CBD hawker centre, but they also treated fans and diners by taking selfies with them.
One snapshot, shared on Instagram by the fan account @spartacecouple, features Ji happily posing with fans.

Filming Began Upon Touchdown in Singapore; Members Visited Mandai Bird Paradise and Haji Lane
Besides visiting Lau Pa Sat, the hosts of Running Man explored other Singaporean attractions.
According to Instagram footage captured by their fans, they stopped by Mandai Bird Paradise. They strolled through the vibrant Haji Lane on Sunday (5 November 2023) as part of their ongoing filming.
Not to miss out on culinary delights, the stars dropped by a local prawn noodle eatery in the vicinity and treated themselves to a foot spa experience.
It’s worth noting that South Korean actress Jeon So-min was absent from these scenes as she bid farewell to the show on 30 October 2023 after a six-year run.
Although this was the first time an episode of Running Man was filmed in Singapore, it’s not their first time here, as they have visited the country before.
