It’s common to have a crush on your teacher, especially one who is attractive, but this student took it to a whole new level.
So, here’s what happened: a supposedly middle school (like secondary school in Singapore) student made a wedding proposal to his teacher, with his supportive friends even holding to a banner that says, “Ms Lee, I love you. Marry me, please?”

And if that isn’t weird enough, here’s what happened that’s even weirder: the teacher rejected in an extremely aggressive manner, reiterating that she has a boyfriend.
What’s even more appalling is that the teacher even got so angry that she tossed the flowers given to her, stamped on it and kicked the speaker beside the student.
And because of her weird behaviour, there has been speculations in Weibo that this could have been staged. Firstly, the area seemed cold, so it was unrealistic that Ms Lee was wearing such a short skirt. Secondly, it seemed like an act altogether, unless Ms Lee really hated the student.
Thirdly…why would there be such a pretty teacher wearing such an outfit to school? Just look at her high heels—we all know teachers need to move around regularly. Would she cry of pain every night?
But whether this is real or not, here’s one takeaway: start with a relationship first before proposing. Everyone should know that, no?
