“Kandy Karnival” sounds like something a member of the Kardashian family might use for one of their lavish birthday bashes.
Potentially inspired by the famous Hollywood sister clan (we can’t confirm if it was), Singapore influencer and billionaire heiress Kim Lim has hosted an extravagant carnival-themed party under the same name to celebrate her 31st birthday, falling on 21 July. This was also a joint celebration for her son Kyden’s 5th birthday.
As her son’s birthday falls on just a few days prior, on 18 July, this made celebrating their big days together an easy decision.
The flamboyant affair was held at The Barracks Hotel in Sentosa island, where the venue was transformed floor-to-ceiling carnival tent with featuring a 30-feet tall 1,000kg castle, 3,000-feet drapes, 72 rainbow doors, 10,000 toys and balloons.
All done in 10 days of honest hard work.
That’s one lucky kid.
Candy and Pokemon Themed
The entire set up was probably every 5-year-old kid’s dream—colourful balloons everywhere, a giant pokemon-themed ball pit, and lots and lots of candy.
For the children attending, and the inner-kids of adults present, there were also acarde-style claw machines, a ball pit, and carnival games.
We’re not sure why the kid above is in that claw machine, or how the claw is even strong enough to carry him, but he looks like he’s having a good time.
An Influencer-Filled Event
Numerous influencers and celebrities islandwide headed down to Sentosa to celebrate with Kim and her son.
This included long-time friend and fellow influencer Xiaxue, Naomi Neo, and even actress Zoe Tay made an appearance.
It probably cost a pretty penny to host everyone.
But hey, at least Kim and Kyden will likely remember this birthday, unlike the one-year-old Kardashian child who was thrown a $100,000 birthday for something they’ll never have any memory of.
