The year is coming to an end, and if you’re into the whole “new year, new me” nonsense, you probably would have come up with a list of New Year’s resolution which is basically the replica of this year’s list.
But kudos to you for trying; I gave up many moons ago.
If hitting the gym is one of your resolutions, then listen up.
Don’t sign up for a gym membership just yet.
Do you remember in 2014, when ActiveSG rolled out an initiative where members were given $100 in hopes that we will get our lazy asses to their gyms, pools and sports facilities?
How many of you have not even touched it?
I thought so.
So over the years, the government has extended the expiry date of the aforementioned credits and that expiry date is 16 days away.
Assuming you have made a trip to their gym or other sports facilities at least once in 2016 by using the credits, the expiry date of your ActiveSG dollars will be automatically extended to 31 Dec 2017.
So before you swipe your credit card at some snazzy gym, make use of the free credits first.
But please pace yourself and don’t overdo it.
Who knows, maybe you would have the sudden revelation that the gym life isn’t for you.
