“$12.45++ for a shabu-shabu dinner? Give me more deets.”
Aren’t you afraid of COVID-19?
“Just give me the deets.”
Okay.
1 for 1 Shabu-Shabu Dinner Buffet in Suki-Ya Bugis+ (Till 23 Feb)
Lest you didn’t know, Suki-Ya is a popular hot-pot buffet restaurant that’s well-known for its all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu: thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water and served with dipping sauces, which originated from Japan.
Singaporeans love it as you won’t need to wait ten hours for the meat to be cooked.
Suki-Ya has a total of nine outlets here in Singapore.
If you’re feeling hungry just by reading this, then grab a friend to Bugis+ now, as the outlet there is having a 1-for1 promotion: even for weekend dinner!
Here’s what they’ve written:

Here in Suki-Ya, we are dedicated to create a pleasant dining experience for everyone. Please rest assured that sharing ladles will be provided.
T&Cs:

- Offer is valid only for buffet, but not valid with additional add-ons or a la carte drinks (e.g. beer, sake, water).

Of course, what you’d need to know is this: sharing ladles will be provided.
This means you won’t need to drink your buddy’s saliva if you use a separate chopsticks to cook the food (which you should since you should always use a separate pair of chopsticks for raw and cooked food), and a ladle to scoop those cooked goodness to your own bowl.
And also, that means you can enjoy a buffet meal during the weekends for mere $13.95++—not a bad deal if you skip breakfast and lunch just for an extreme dinner.
Do remember that it’s only available in the Bugis+ outlet and promotion ends this Sunday (23 February 2020).
