Most Singaporeans would agree that Chilli Crab is probably one of the most iconic things you can eat in Singapore.
There’s just something about that sauce that goes so well with fresh crab meat.
And not to mention dipping your favourite fried mantou (Chinese steam buns) into that sauce.
But what if I told you that a restaurant has decided to combine the two and make it even better?
Swee Choon Coming Out with Lava Bun That Has Chilli Crab As Fillings at 3 for $8
Local dim sum eatery, Swee Choon, also known as the ultimate hangout place for supper, is coming out two new items just in time for National Day.
The first item is a new lava bun that has chilli crab as its fillings.
Just look at that beauty.
The Lava Bun with Chilli Crab Fillings comes in a set of three, and they’re sold for $8.
The bun is similar to that of fried mantou, and the inside is a thick Chilli Crab sauce that is bound to satisfy all cravings.
But that’s not all they’re releasing.
Mee Suah Kueh with Chilli Crab Sauce
In case you don’t know what mee suah kueh is, it’s actually stir-fried wheat vermicelli with dried shrimps and Chinese sausage. They are then deep-fried together and topped with a generous serving of Chilli Crab sauce.
But don’t worry, there will also be freshly peeled crab meat to go with your mee suah kueh, so it’s not just the sauce.
We all know how absolutely disappointing that would be.
This will come in a set of two for $5.
