Think of Instaworthy photo spots and sprawling fields in foreign lands might come to mind.

But as it turns out, you might not have to travel so far after all:

Telok Blangah Hill Park Turns Pink As Bougainvillea Flowers Are In Full Bloom

Plane rides to Japan? Nah, ain’t nobody got time for that when you could just take an MRT to Telok Blangah to capture some pics for the gram’.

If the title isn’t telling enough, Telong Blangah Hill Park has turned blushing pink as Bougainvillaeas flowers take over, and damn, it’s a gorgeous sight. (With Instagram filters and edits at the very least).

Just look at how gorgeous the place looks.

For a second, I thought the people in the photos above were the same person. But then I realised that there’s a dress code: pink dress and a hat.

Just kidding. Although wearing that particular outfit definitely looks nice and makes you look like you’re in some picturesque distant land, it isn’t compulsory.

Slippers and singlets are welcome too.

The winding staircase just makes the entire place look that much more dramatic and exotic.

My goal is to build a life I don’t need a vacation from. • • • Posting this second set of photos taken at Telok Blangah Hill Park as a reward for surviving day one of work day after maternity! Catching the tail end of bougainvillea flowers! Let me tell you a back story behind this shot: we woke up early morning and reach this place before 9AM, thinking we’ll have a whole place to ourselves, but turns out we were wrong! – There was this Singaporean instagrammer who’s struggling to take a shot of herself using just tripod. Her reaction was so priceless when I offered to take a picture for her 🤣 she was using a Sony A7IIR and some prime lens so I’m pretty sure she has quite a following. And after we took so many shots of her, she offered the same for us, that way me and @alymaharani could have this shot together 😆 – she even taught us how to pose with a hat and joked: “ah you cannot play around with the hat meh, let me show you how it’s done” hahaha all in all, just wanna share with you how much effort actually goes in one picture. #VKmapSingapore . . . . . . #culturetrip #prettylittletrips #mytinyatlas #suitcasetravels #passionpassport #chasinglight #architecturephotography #forbestravelguide #cbviews #apartmenttherapy #lensbible #wonderful_places #exklusive_shot #postcardplaces #lonelyplanet #mydomainetravels #cntraveler #tv_living #mycityloves #theweekoninstagram #tourtheplanet #beautifuldestinations #guardiancities

Taking photos from the bottom is really gorgeous too.

This particular angle will make you look like you have your very own castle here in Singapore.

Or you could surround yourself left and right with pink blooms. That works too.

How To Get There

So these photos have convinced you and you can’t wait to call your ad-hoc photographer aka Instagram boyfriend to snap photos of you.

Go forth my friends:
