Avid shoppers or foodies who love going to JB for cheap food and retail therapy, you’ll love the new thing that’s coming up in the near future. There’s going to be a new shopping mall in JB, and it’s huge. Bigger than City Square and KSL, in fact.
If you’re getting sick and tired of City Square and KSL, here’s something new to whet your appetite, literally, be it for makan or shopping.
Capital 21, Thematic Retail Mall in Capital City
Located just 20 minutes away from Singapore, this gigantic retail mall reminds me of Jurong Point with its various themed zones (separated by different levels) within the 6-storeys mall.
From American fashion to Asian street fashion from Korea and Hong Kong, there’s something for everyone.
And if you’re in the mood for some food, eat in a Safari setting not unlike that of Africa on the fourth floor. And did we mention the huge variety of food from different countries you can eat within the mall?
The top floors are occupied by the world museum which showcases interactive exhibits from five different continents – Asia, Europe, America, Australia and Africa.
Here’s a fun fact: the reason why it’s called Capital 21, is because the mall strives to showcase at least 6 iconic cities in each level to best represent the continent.
2 Hotels and 3 Residences Within Capital City
One day isn’t enough for you to finish exploring the mall? There are two hotels, Hatten Hotel and International Hotel for you to stay the night and resume your retail therapy the next day.
There are also 690 units of residences location within Capital City to be sold.
The mall is currently under construction and is projected to be finished by the first half of 2018 with a whopping retail platform measuring 1.1 million sqft.
Promise your girlfriend to bring her on a world tour and simply bring her to this mall. #LifeHacks Don’t blame us if she breaks up with you immediately after, though.
