There’s A Neat Map That Crowdsources Rare Pokémon Nests By Gathering Data From 3 Sources

If you have been walking the whole of Singapore to catch Pokemon like Dragonite and Snorlax, this map is a total lifesaver.

The map was developed by Otokiru, a fellow Pokemon GO player whose day job is a software engineer, who pulled his data from 3 online sources. Though the website is not meant for users to track the creatures in real time, players can use the map to have a gauge of where the Pokemon are located at.

There is no way to be certain, he says, but there is a reason why some areas are known to be popular hotspots for some creatures.

He decided to test that theory and the result is his website that shows that while there are concentrations, some appearances are also randomly created across the island.

Until this point of time, his website can only track 12 rare Pokemon – Chansey, Gyarados, Lapras, Porygon, Snorlax, Dragonite, and Ditto. Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew – but that’s more than enough for any avid Pokemon GO player.

Through the map, they will also show you the Latitude and Longitude of the specific Pokemon that was spotted. Based on these previous sightings, you can predict with confidence that some of these Pokemon may just be sighted here again.

I mean, just catch one of each of these 12 Pokemon, and you might just be the next Pokemon Master.

Now, you really have to catch them all.
