Singapore actor Timothy Nga, whom you might have seen in Channel 5 dramas like Fighting Spiders, Police & Thief, and the more recent This Land Is Mine, has passed away at 49 years old.
His demise was announced by his sister in an Instagram post.

She did not reveal the cause of death.
Prolific Actor, Both on Stage & On Camera
Many of us would know him through television, but the late actor is also a theatre actor.
He performed regularly with local theatre firms like Wild Rice, The Necessary Stage and the Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT).
He also starred in several movies, like Anthony Chen’s Wet Season and The High Cost Of Living.
In 2011, he performed in the National Day Parade, singing alongside with former actress Sharon Au.
Other than showbiz, the multi-talented man was also an executive coach, emcee and director.
According to his website, he has “fronted lifestyle and business programs, emceed conferences of up to 2,500 people and has interviewed leaders and subject matter experts from all over the world.”
Before his acting career, he was doing sales in the IT industry for eight years before taking a leap of faith to join showbiz.

Reports of Deaths in 2023 So Far
There has been a series of deaths reported recently.
Sim Wong Hoo, the founder of Creative Technology, died on 4 January.
On 8 January, it was reported that Victoria Lee, a Singapore-American MMA fighter, died on 26 December last year.
