Traffic police officers can actually be pretty chill.
Don’t believe me? This viral video of a biker’s encounter with stealth TP officers is proof.
10km/h Over The Limit Is Still OK, But 20km/h More Is Not
Initially posted on TikTok, the biker JoJo Titipong posted an extended version of his viral video on Facebook, which showed the entire exchange.
The motorcyclist first spotted a stealth TP officer and waved to him, but was soon approached by not one, but two officers while approaching a traffic junction.
The biker was directed to stop at the side of the road, where one of the officers asked, “Er… do you know what’s the speed limit of this road?”
The biker very confidently replied “70km/h”, to which the officer corrected, saying “60!”
JoJo took it in good humour, saying “Eh, alamak!” when he realised his mistake.
The officer then shared that he was ready to close one eye when he saw the biker travelling at 70km/h. “For me, 70km I’m OK lah.”
See? TP officers aren’t as rigid as they seem, and they do give benefit of the doubt.
However, what made the officers pull the biker over is that he suddenly started travelling over 80km/h on the straight road. Plus 10km/h may just be a small mistake, but 20km/h more than the limit does deserve getting booked.
He even showed the motorcyclist the speed he was going at, which was a “sweet swee 81km/h” that was maintained for a period of time.
Lowest Visor Clarity He’s Seen In His Entire Career
The TP officer also pointed out JoJo’s tinted visor, and informed him that under Singapore’s law, his visor needs at least 80% clarity.
“This is the lowest I’ve ever seen ah, lowest I’ve ever seen bro,” said the officer in shock when JoJo’s visor turned up to only have 2% clarity.
“The lowest I’ve ever seen is 5, your’s is 2 you know! Your’s is definitely the lowest I’ve ever seen in my entire career man!”
The motorcyclist joked, “you say like that, I don’t know whether it’s a compliment or not”, to which the officer replied humorously, “I mean if you’re going to fail, you might as well fail spectacularly ah?”
Before the pair of officers left, they even made sure the biker had all of his stuff back including his NRIC.

Kena Summon But Still Felt At Ease
JoJo shared on his Facebook that he posted this video to show that there are polite and respectful officers out there, who do their job without arrogance.
Despite being slapped with a fine and demerit points, the biker said he had no animosity toward the officers: “They were not rude at all, and that made me feel at ease even though I know I did something wrong.”
Many Facebook commenters also applauded the two officers, saying that their friendly approach made a usually unpleasant process a lot easier.
