Golden Village

DBS/POSB Card Members

Have a DBS or POSB Credit/Debit card? Use them to pay for your movie tickets at GV and you stand to get the following:

• $2 off non-3D movie tickets on all days
• $1.50 off 3-D movie tickets on all days
• $3 off Gold Class movie tickets from Mondays to Wednesdays
• Special DBS Combo(s) available with any purchase of a pair of 3D or Non-3D movie tickets using DBS GV iCard online. (Not valid with purchase of Gold Class movie tickets)

Kids Watch For Free Every Day

Want to bring your kid/favourite nephew/least annoying baby cousin to the movies? From now till 31 Dec 2017, purchase 2 standard adult tickets at any GV cinemas and kids below 12 years old get to watch the movie for free!

The promo is valid only for walk-ins for sessions before 2 pm every day except the eve of/and public holidays. 

Senior Citizens Watch Movies At $4.50

Your retired ah gong or ah ma complaining of boredom while everyone else is out of the house? Tell them to go on a date and watch a movie at GV!

Senior citizens (age above 55) can watch their favourite movies at a concession rate of $4.50 per movie ticket all year round!

The promo is only valid for purchases made at GV Box Office or Automated Ticketing Machines for movies before 6 pm on Mondays to Fridays, excluding eve of/and public holidays.

Student Deal

And of course, when we talk about deals, how can we miss out the student deal, right?

Simply flash your student ID before 6 pm on Mondays to Fridays and you get to enjoy discounts on your movie tickets. And this time, it’s not just limited to 2-D movies, but 3-D, GV Max and D-Box movie tickets as well!

The promo is valid for all full-time primary, secondary, polytechnic & university students in Singapore and is limited to 1 discounted ticket per student card.

Excluding eve of/and public holidays.

Cathay Cineplex

Buddy Deal

Nobody watches movies alone, right? Get another person to watch a movie with you for cheap ;D

From now till 30 April 2017, you can purchase a pair of weekend movie tickets for just $22, or a pair of tickets on weekdays for just $15.

The weekday $15 deal is valid at all Cathay cineplexes from Mondays to Fridays before 6 pm, while the weekday $22 deal is valid for screenings between Fridays and Sundays.

Topping up of $5 for a popcorn and 2 drinks is only valid for walk-in purchases.

Student Deal Plus

From now till 30 Jun 2017, students get to enjoy a movie ticket AND a medium popcorn at just $8. 

The promo is valid for movies on Mondays to Fridays before 6 pm, excluding eve of/and public holidays. Only valid for walk-in purchases, your original student ID must be presented at the box office to redeem.

Only available at Cathay Cineplex Downtown East and The Cathay Cineplex only.

1-For-1 Movies For Singtel Users

From now till 30 Nov 2017, Singtel users enjoy 1-for-1 movie tickets at The Cathay Cineplex (Handy Road) every Thursday.

The promo is valid for the first 500 customers and you need to flash the Singtel logo on your phone or your Singtel bill to redeem.

Senior Citizen Movie Discount

Valid for movies on Mondays to Fridays before 6 pm, senior citizens aged 55 and above gets to purchase movie tickets at the special price of $5.

Photo ID has to be flashed to enjoy the promo and is only valid for walk-in purchases. Valid at all Cathay Cineplexes.

Watsons Members 30% Off Movie Package

You’re probably wondering why I included this when there’s the buddy combo, but check it out.

From now till 31 Mar 2018, Watsons members enjoy a weekday (Mon to Thur) package deal of a pair of movie tickets, 2 soft drinks and a large popcorn at $22.

For weekends (Fri-Sun), they’ll get a pair of movie tickets, 2 soft drinks and a large popcorn at $30.

The promo is valid at all Cathay Cineplexes, and members must flash a physical member card or eCard to redeem.

Shaw Brothers

SAFRA Members Exclusive

A SAFRA member? Then you cannot miss this deal!

From now till 31 Dec 2019, get your movie tickets at a discounted rate ($1 OFF movie ticket from Mondays to Thursdays; $2 OFF movie ticket from Fridays to Sundays).

Promotion is not valid on Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day, Chinese New Year’s Eve/1st & 2nd Day of CNY.

Simply present a valid SAFRA card to redeem the deal!

SAFRA Weekend 1-For-1

$2 OFF not good enough for you? How about 50% OFF then? From now until 25 Jun 2017, SAFRA members gets the second ticket free when they purchase the first ticket at the full price of $12.50.

Each SAFRA member is limited to one redemption per weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and the promo is limited to the first 500 SAFRA members.

Maybank Visa Platinum Card

From now until 30 Jun 2017, Maybank Platinum Visa Cardmembers get $3 OFF movie tickets from Mondays to Sundays.

The promo is limited to the first 600 redemptions per calendar month and is redeemable when a minimum of 2 tickets are charged to your card.

Golden Movie Moments at Shaw Theatres

Valid for ages 55 and above, senior citizens can get a movie ticket at a special concession rate of $4 (regular movies), $12 (IMAX Digital) or $14 (IMAX 3D) on Mondays to Fridays before 6 pm at all Shaw Theatres.

A valid photo ID must be presented at the point of purchase and each senior citizen is only valid for 1 concession ticket.

M1 1-For-1 Sundays

An M1 user? Simply flash your latest M1 bill or show the M1 logo on your phone to get your second movie ticket free every Sunday.

The offer is valid at the following outlets: Shaw Theatres Lido, Shaw Theatres nex, Shaw Theatres Lot One, Shaw Theatres Balestier, Shaw Theatres Seletar, Shaw Theatres Seletar, Shaw Theatres JCube and Shaw Theatres Waterway Point.

The offer is valid for the first 450 M1 customers across all of the above locations and is limited to 1 redemption per M1 customer.

Shaw Student Deal

Valid for movies before 6 pm from Monday to Friday at all Shaw theatres. Each valid student card is entitled to 1 discounted ticket only.

OCBC Credit/Debit Cards

The offer is valid for a maximum purchase of 4 tickets/movie packages per cardmember per day from now till 31 Dec 2017.

The 2-D movie package consists of 2 movie tickets, 2 32oz drinks and 1 85oz popcorn. The 3-D movie package consists of 2 movie tickets, 2 3D glasses, 2 32oz drinks and 1 85oz popcorn.

Kids Watch For Free

For every standard adult ticket purchased on Mondays to Fridays before 2 pm, your kid aged below 6 years old gets to watch for free!
