If you don’t, here’s some context: he actually starred as Dao Ming Si in 2001 Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, and just recently made a guest appearance in 我的少女时代

On the other side of the equation, we have Lin Chi Ling.

This beauty has walked down the runway, hosted television shows and acted in a bevy of high-production films.

So what about them?

They were together for six years, before splitting up in 2006. But like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, they have consistently been surrounded by rumours of them getting back together.

These rumours, however, never really came into fruition.

Until recently, when they somewhat make sense. For once.

The pair was apparently spotted at a hotel in Malaysia just a few days ago.

And naturally, tongues have been wagging. A lot.

What exactly happened?

Yan was originally seen at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport last week, dressed in black with a black mask. Coincidentally, Lin also happened to be in town for a Longines event.

Around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday (10 Nov), the two were spotted alighting from a white car in front of a hotel. Suspicious then arose that Lin had fetched Yan from the airport and to the hotel.

After Yan got off, he removed his mask and took his luggage, before turning back and giving Lin a smile.

At a later time, the actress was spotted entering the same hotel with her assistant. She appeared eager to keep a low-profile, as she was garbed entirely in black and even made it a point to lower her hat to cover her face in the elevator.

The pair were also pictured entering the hotel’s gym together. The photos made their way online, and subsequently turned up on the front page on Sunday (12 November).

Nothing like a workout to fuel a long-awaited reunion date, huh?

What did they say?

While the duo did not confirm rumours that they have gotten back together, Yan has responded by saying that he was “happy that they kept in contact and expressed that the two of them truly cared about each other.”

Lin did not speak on the matter, but her work studio has requested for the public to “give them some time and privacy.” They also interjected that should they get back together, the studio will announce it and “share the joy with the couple’s fans.”

Honestly…

I don’t really care whether they get back together.

What I do care about is Lin’s number. Heh, just kidding.

Anyway, lest you’re unaware, Justin Bieber got back together with Selena Gomez recently. Which was pretty unexpected.
