According to a video circulating online, the half-naked man can be seen standing at the security counter, repeatedly striking the countertop with a small knife while shouting, “Goodbye Singapore flag.”

Several police officers slowly approach the man, with one officer holding a Taser and loudly commanding the man to put down the knife and lie down.

As the officers draw near, the man immediately stands still with his hands behind his back and kneels on the ground as instructed. Two officers with shields move closer, while two others step forward to apprehend him.

One officer grabs the man’s shoulders, pressing him down to the ground, while the others swiftly follow, working together to control his limbs. Another officer takes out handcuffs and secures the man’s hands behind his back.

The police confirmed that they had received a report and, upon arrival, found a 56-year-old man holding a knife. The man was arrested for possessing an offensive weapon. He had self-inflicted injuries and was sent to the hospital conscious.
