Go to any mall and you can easily spot about 10 bubble tea stores. There’s Koi, LiHo, Playmade, Tiger Sugar and the list goes on and on.
But have you ever stumbled upon a Vegan bubble tea store?
Vegan Bubble Tea Store To Open in S’pore At The End of Jan 2020
Good news for all Vegans in Singapore: You’ll soon have your very own vegan bubble tea store on our sunny island.
A vegan bubble tea store by the name of Mong Cha Cha will open here at the end of January 2020. That’s less than a month away!
The exact date of opening has yet to be revealed, but you can check their Facebook page here for updates.
It will offer bubble tea with organic plant milk alternatives such as organic oat or soy milk.
Here are the four signature drinks that will be on the menu:
You’ve got your familiar Boba tea options like Early Grey Black Sugar Boba Mylk Tea, priced reasonably at $4.90.
Interestingly there’s a drink called Oddly Hazy Mylk priced at $5.90.
They also have other classic tea options such as green tea, oolong tea and golden flower tea.
Environmentally Friendly Packaging
This store is taking it a step further and introducing environmentally friendly packaging in the form of compostable PLA cups, lids and straws, according to the poster in their photos.
This vegan bubble tea store is definitely worth checking out once it opens. I think using other alternatives to milk will give an interesting twist to the taste of bubble tea.
For those of you who are unaware, Vegans do not consume any animal products including milk, eggs or any kind of dairy products like cheese or butter.
