Wang Leehom, Joey Yung & Others Coming to S’pore to Perform for S’pore Mandopop Festival Next Month

If you haven’t heard of One Love Asia Festival, maybe you don’t love Mandopop enough or at all, because this music festival will be having its third run here in Singapore this October.

Set to take place on 19 and 20 October at the Padang, the festival will feature performances by artistes including Wang Leehom, Joker Xue, Joey Yung, Harlem Yu and Kit Chan, and each set is estimated to be around 40 minutes.

The line-up in 2023 featured Hebe Tien, Crowd Lu and Kelly Yu.

It’s just like a series of mini-concerts by our favourite artistes. So worth it.

Ticket Prices and Information

General admission tickets are priced at $188 per day, and attendees who wish to get a closer view of the artistes on stage can opt for the premium admission tickets which are priced at $228 per day. There are no two-day passes available for the festival, and tickets are available on Sistic from 6 September, 11am onwards.

If you’re intending to go for the festival and are an OCBC card holder, we have good news for you. The OCBC pre-sale started earlier today (4 September) at 11am, and will end tomorrow (5 September) at 11pm, so go grab those tickets before the rest of them.

What Some of the Artistes Have Been Up to Recently

Wang Leehom, a Taiwanese-American singer and songwriter, is performing in Singapore for the first time after his ugly divorce from Lee Jinglei, which caused a huge negative impact on his reputation and career as he was accused of having multiple affairs.

During his comeback show in Taiwan last September, he knelt onstage to thank his fans for their support.

So yes, he’s back.

Cantopop diva Joey Yung recently faced reports claiming that she likes women due to her comments in a media interview being taken out of context, but has since refuted them on her blog. She released a new song “9.9s” (no, not related to any Shopee sale) earlier this April after a three-year hiatus, and was seen at Lau Pa Sat in March.

Even celebrities go to Lau Pa Sat, why can’t we have first dates there?

Chinese singer-songwriter and record producer Joker Xue held a concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in January this year and sold out three shows. Xue’s concerts are known to be entertaining and humorous, and he likes to call out members of the audience for some interaction, like when he asked one of them to demonstrate how to “chope” a seat with a shoe.

You can also “chope” your spot for the festival by purchasing the tickets via Sistic’s website, mobile app, and hotline at +65 6348 5555.
