The artiste list for the inaugural Waterbomb Singapore 2024 music festival has finally been confirmed.
This comprises a lineup of K-pop, K-hip-hop, and Singaporean artists set to perform on 24 and 25 August at Siloso Beach, Sentosa.
Initial Lineup Announced
The initial lineup for Waterbomb Singapore 2024, announced on 6 May, features an exciting mix of K-pop, K-hip-hop, Thai, and Singaporean artists:
- BamBam – Thai rapper, singer, former GOT7 member
- BIBI – South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter
- Kwon Eun-bi – Former IZ*ONE member, went viral for Waterbomb Seoul performance
- Sandara Park – Legendary 2NE1 member
- VIVIZ – Girl group with former GFriend members Eunha, SinB, Umji
- Kid Milli – South Korean rapper
- Team Bebe – Viral dance crew from Street Woman Fighter 2
- Sorn – Thai singer, former CLC member
There were joined by three Singaporeans:
- Alyph – Singaporean rapper, ex-Sleeq member
- Haven – Singaporean singer-songwriter
- Lullaboy – Singaporean pop-R&B singer
CL Announcement
On 17 May 2024, it was announced that CL, the iconic leader of 2NE1, would be joining the Waterbomb Singapore lineup.
Known for her powerful stage presence and solo hits like “Hello Bitches” and “+DONE161201+”, fans are excited about the possibility of CL collaborating on stage with her fellow 2NE1 member, Sandara Park, who was announced during the initial lineup reveal.
Jessi and Loco Announcement
On 24 May 2024, two more artists were added to the Waterbomb Singapore lineup – Jessi and Loco.
Jessi, the Korean-American rapper known for hits like “ZOOM” and “NUNU NANA”, will be performing in Singapore for the first time.
Meanwhile, Loco, the inaugural winner of Show Me The Money and a Waterbomb festival mainstay, is expected to hype up the crowd with tracks such as “Hold Me Tight” and “Too Much”.
More Solo Singers Joining
In June, Kpop’s solo powerhouses Rain, Jay Park, and Chungha were all confirmed to be in the list.
On 14 June, Jay Park was confirmed to be the final Korean artiste to join the event.
Event Details and Tickets
Waterbomb Singapore 2024 will take place on 24 and 25August at Siloso Beach, Sentosa. The festival is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees across the two-day event.
Tickets are priced as follows:
- One-day pass: S$202
- Two-day pass: already sold out
Standard tickets will be available for purchase through the official ticketing partner, KKday.
Origins of Waterbomb Festival
Waterbomb is an iconic summer water music festival that originated in South Korea in 2015. The festival combines the best of K-pop, K-hip-hop, and EDM performances with refreshing water games and activities.
Held annually during the summer season, Waterbomb has been hosted in various cities across South Korea and has recently expanded to Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
Since its inception, Waterbomb has featured prominent K-pop and K-hip-hop acts on its stages, such as TWICE’s Nayeon, SHINee’s Taemin, Jay Park, Hwasa, Grey, Loco, Jessi, Zico, and Sunmi.
