Wife Allegedly Tossed Money at Husband’s Mistress & Footage of it Went Viral

Cheating’s undeniably a terrible crime. Not as bad as spilling Nutella all over the floor, but definitely close enough.

And if the person your partner’s cheating with is your friend, it’s even worse. Imagine two people you trust betraying you at the same time. It’s like drinking herbal tea from a bottle and swallowing a live lizard in the process.

Pure torture.

Heaven knows what I would do if my partner cheated on me. And what I will do to the dude my partner cheated on me with.

Though what I definitely wouldn’t do, however, is splash money in his face. Like, bitch you stole my girl. Ain’t no way I’m rewarding you for it.

But apparently…

That’s what this wife did.

Money, money, money, must be funny, in a rich man’s world.

Splashing the dough

The wife, who goes by the name Bu Dendy on social media, discovered that her husband had been having an affair. And to make it worse, he was cheating with her friend.

This was evidently too much for the lady, who proceeded to confront her traitorous friend in pretty non-logical fashion:

The whole commotion was recorded down and subsequently posted onto Youtube:

Anyways, the enraged wife can be seen showering notes of IDR100k (SGD10) and IDR50k (SGD5) on the woman, who sat on the sofa with her head bowed in an apologetic fashion.

The wife also yells the whole time, with her voice noticeably rising in a crescendo with every sentence.

Now, I’m no Indonesian major when it comes to it. But even I can tell that the wife’s not exactly dishing out compliments.

“You only want my husband’s money! Eat all this! You can buy a house! Here’s the money! How much is your dignity worth?” she said.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Interestingly, around midway through the video, a man can be seen sitting back against the sofa with one leg perched on the other, pretty much the pose any one of us observers would adopt right now while reading this.

And the identity of that comfortable-looking dude?

The husband.

Yeah, so while his wife and mistresses were confronting each other, he’s basically like “Well this is a good show. Pity about those notes though. Maybe I will sneak some later when they aren’t looking. Oh man if only there’s popcorn. But hey it feels pretty good when two women fight over you. Boombayah!”

Now, if you thought that was the juicy part, think again.

The Netizens, upon witnessing such an inconceivable topic for themselves, took to Twitter to share what they think about it.

And boy, it’s a blast.

This user, for one, shared this picture with the caption “Bu Dendy as a kid”.

Another listed the most favourable jobs in 2018.

Women’s rights activists

But just as how every joke stems from something serious, there’s a serious problem lining the entire situation. According to Indonesia’s National Commission on Violence Against Women anyway.

So as I pointed out earlier in the article, the husband was just chilling back while his wife was roasting the mistress with cold, hard cash.

This, according to the women’s rights activists, is pretty dangerous in the sense that it might further normalise the questionable double standards in Indonesia whereby women tank everything for infidelity.

“It’s his behaviour that is inappropriate, that of [her husband] finding another woman, but [Bu Dendy] defended her husband to death. Who is she actually attacking? The victim. This is what must be recognised so women don’t fall into a trap. [Bu Dendy] could even become a suspect if the case is processed by the law,” said Budi Wahyuni, commissioner for the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan).

To which I agree. Cheating is something that takes two hands to clap, and surely something that warrants equal blame too. Unless the husband was being forced for some sexy time, I’m pretty sure he should take some flak for it.

You know; there was never an official term for this.

Shelling out money? Splashing the dough? Throwing money? The list goes on and on.

But hey, I think we can finally agree on something that fits this motion to a T.
